The NRF Big Show Expo has wrapped up in New York.

This week in New York City, over 30,000 attendees and 500 exhibiting companies came out for the National Retail Federation’s Big Show Conference and EXPO. The event was filled with good vibes as organizations from across the industry rubbed elbows and discussed the past, present and future of every aspect of the retail landscape.

A recent article¬†from Retail Info Systems News recapped the big stories and main takeaways from this year’s conference. The motto of the event was “Bigger and Better” and it showed. Analytics and POS system integration were front and center in many innovations. The main focus was mobile solutions and technology. Everyone wanted to see and ask how each company is incorporating mobile devices into the sales process, either as point of sale terminals or as tools for associates to improve the customer experience.

As this blog covered earlier this month, Visual Retail Plus exhibited at this years NRF Big Show. Hili Shrem, the Director of Business Development at Visual Retail Plus, recapped the experience from our perspective.

We got to meet some potential customers we have been back and forth with, we got new leads, saw what is new in the market and as always, shook hands with other companies we see once a year at the NRF and work with year round. The NRF was a complete networking success and we look forward to seeing what 2014 has to unfold for us.”
